Belle Road and I-24 in Nashville, TN
Gulf Industries was called on to design proper protection of a 118" hazard in a gore area where a Hydro-Cell Cluster was impacted and removed. It was replaced with a custom designed Quadguard impact attenuator. GI worked closely with the Tennessee Dept of Transportation for the approval on this site.
Gulf Industries Performs Essential Role in the Hurricane Contra-Flow Evacuations
Gulf Industries supplies Triton Barriers to the Louisiana and Mississippi DOTDs to create vital contra-flow routes on I-10, I-12, I-49, I-55 and I-59 during hurricane evacuations in southern Louisiana and Mississippi.
TN State Highway 11W
Gulf Industries was called on at this site in Kingsport, TN after two attenuators were impacted and severely damaged. The Gulf Team was asked to design a partially re-usable system that could sustain impacts at over 60 mph and properly protect a median bridge pier from both directions on State Highway 11W. With help from engineers at Energy Absorption and Gulf Industries we were able to supply the Tennessee Department of Transportation with this custom designed 48" Wide Quadguard system, another example of Gulf Industries dedication to highway safety.
Safe-Stop 180 for MS and LA DOTDs
Gulf Industries supplied the Mississippi and Louisiana DOTDs with Safe-Stop 180s for the safety of their work crews at various on-going state highway projects.
VisiBarriers, Ouachita Parish, LA
Gulf Industries supplied Jack B. Harper Contractors, Inc. with over 15,000 linear feet of VisiBarriers on State Project 451-06-0121, I-20 elevated section, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. In addition, another 15,000 linear feet were added after the original project.
